Become an International Election Observer
in Bosnia & Herzegovina

Silba is recruiting observers for the upcoming general election in Bosnia & Herzegovina, which will be held on the 2nd of October. Do you want to be a democratic watchdog and learn more about the Bosnian political situation?

Then join us on this Election Observation Mission (EOM).


The participation fee for this EOM is 300 euros (2233 DKK). This covers expenses during the programmed days, except the travel expenses to Bosnia.

All activities are non-profit, which means that the payment will cover the cost for you as a participant!


  • Are between 18 and 35 years old

  • Are a Silba member

  • Available from the 27th September to the 4th of October

  • Have passed the free OSCE "Comprehensive Course for OSCE/ ODHIR Observers" prior to the EOM

  • Do not need to have previous experience

Note: Silba reserves the right to cancel the EOM in case of safety issues at any time. Silba's safety assessment is based on information from open sources and the Danish foreign ministry's travel advice.

Please note that the EOM is voluntary and does not take any side in the elections.

Locations: Sarajevo, Mostar, & Banja Luka

  5. The order of preference of the location to be posted in for the observation

  6. If you have a driver's license and confortable with driving in the country
