Silba is calling for applications for its newly founded International Department. Our ambition is to build a branch solely responsible for the administration of Silba’s EOM missions. We are looking for four officers that are interested in project work, management and administration of Silba’s core activities to help establish the new EOM Department along with organizing and executing Silba’s EOMs. This exciting new venture will both give you lots of opportunity to get in the middle of the work needed to carry out an EOM and direct administrative responsibilities for both the organization and our coordinators for the mission! The positions open for application are:


Press Officer: The Departments’ Press Officer will be in charge of promoting our EOMs on our website and Social Media accounts. Next to this, the Press Officer is our in-house go to for advice with press coordinators, as well as being the in-house responsible for press-related tasks.


EOM Planning & Support Officer(2 vacancies): 
As EOM Planning & Support Officer, you will be tasked with assisting the EOM Coordinator in organizing EOMs. This includes amongst going through coordinator and observer applications, working on receiving government accreditation and supporting our ground teams during EOMs.

Finance & Administration Officer: The Finance & Administration Officer is responsible for making sure that Financial Coordinators in our EOMs are trained and receive the necessary prerequisites (debit cards, accounting sheets etc) before the mission. They will work closely with
treasurer, and will be instrumental in our general budgeting and external funding efforts.our

Next to function-specific tasks, ad-hoc and cross-function tasks may be given to each of the different functions. More detailed function tasks may be discussed after selection, so if you have any specific tasks you would like to do, feel free to mention them in your motivation letter. 


  • You are between 18 and 35 years old

  • Your are available from the time of application until the beginning of June, preferably longer

  • You are prepared to take on a workload of between 1-5 hours per week
